A Little Christmas Cheer-Part II

by | Dec 13, 2013 | Architectural Detail, Holiday Decor | 4 comments

I wandered around the neighborhood yesterday minus the dog and my pint size Southern diva, who has decided that the cold is not for her (much to my “Northern Girl” chagrin). I tried to capture the essence of my neighborhood, but with frequent stops to chat with neighbors, and forgetting to take the lens cap off (that was the one thing they didn’t teach in photography class) I was able to just snap a few. I love the architecture where I live, and with a master plan designed by Andres Duany (www.dpz.com) our neighborhood is the true definition of “New Urbanism.”  Less is more, and with the stunning architecture, the brain child of Lew Oliver (www.lewolivernest.com), our neighborhood continues a tradition that I hope will be a standard for many years. So enjoy some holiday spirit, “Vickery Style,”and I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…
