I finally moved into my new office, the move was intense since it involved having to walk down 2 flights of stairs with my laptop and iPhone. Luckily, I survived and I’m sitting at my new desk and now feel like a grown-up. Too many distractions in my upstairs office, so we built out the basement and I now have an office that is equipped to inspire a bit of creative genius. I wish I could show you pictures, but it’s going to be featured in magazine in the next few months about where Bloggers work. That should give me enough time to find the perfect office chair, for now I am sitting on a mohair stool borrowed from Mr. B’s “mancave.”

While I may be looking for office seating, I’m dreaming of outdoor chairs. Why? Because I’m going to a garden party tonight to meet the founder of a large brand who just launched a new line of outdoor furnishings. I haven’t seen the new product yet, but it did have me thinking about the great outdoors, and what we are going to do about it at Casa B. The winter months and our former landscape service were not kind to our plants. So it’s time to reconfigure and rethink our outdoor space, which is in dire need of an update. Since our home looks over a large pond (or a small lake?) I wanted to have a stone patio put in the back with seating that allows for outdoor entertaining, and my occasional glass of Prosecco at the end of a long day. Since so many of us take it outdoors in the summer months many furniture companies now offer some truly inspired seating. Of which, I have been carefully curating a list over the past month of some of my favorites. One of my absolute favorites is the SeaX Chair by Dedon inspired by the sleek sailing boats of the World Cup, and you’ll soon see why.

Here are some of “The Ace Picks,” for outdoor seating just in time for sweet ole summertime…
