Designed in 2013 and presented at Milan’s annual Mindcraft exhibition, this chair is destined to join the ranks of the iconic furniture designs such as Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Chair and the Florence Knoll Sofa. Inspired by the shape, shell, and structure of the eponymous insect, the Beetle Chair reinterprets the characteristic elements of the beetle’s body. Perfectly linked, rigid on the outside and soft within, the ideal marriage between comfort and functionality.
