A slight change of plans for the weekend, the Fashionista and I were off to meet Mr. B. for a brief weekend of sun and fun over Father’s Day. P.S. She had two pieces of her Barbie luggage packed full of stylish resort wear, all matched perfectly with 14 pairs of sandals, 7 bathing suits, and a make-up case full of hair accessories (all chosen exclusively by her). But a big storm is brewing on the horizon, and I can’t bear to think of our 12 year old Beagle huddled in a corner at the “Doggy Boarding Camp.” So she gets a hall pass and will be safe at home tonight jumping up on the dining table when no one is looking. Does anyone wonder why Beagles have such long ears? It’s because they operate like wings and allow them to fly across the room from any vantage point to land on food regardless of where you put it. So it looks like I’ll be staying at Casa B. putting the finishing touches on an inspiration board for a client “Kitchen Re-do,” and finishing a Sample Pinboard for another upcoming “Pinterest Challenge” that I’ve committed to judging. In the morning, we are off with a car loaded with a selection of items that the Fashionista needs in order to be “pool worthy” (her words).
Yesterday, I shared some “Ace Picks” from Clarke and Clarke’s fabric collection, there were so many fabulous pictures sent to me that I decided to split the posts because I couldn’t decide which to feature. So here is a sampling of some of the most breathtakingly beautiful wallpapers that range from sophisticated romanticism to contemporary patterns allowing them to mix well with a variety of furniture styles. I think that this company is absolutely going to take the industry by storm with their breathtaking designs and use of vibrant colours. I am absolutely enthralled, and you’ll soon see why. This pattern is called Yolande Jet-1, and it’s just beyond fabulous. Of course the obvious use would be a Powder Room, but I think it would be sensational in a Dining Room. (One of my absolute favorites).

I am in the process of updating my office, and have been searching tirelessly for the perfect pattern to go with black furnishings and blue accents. When I saw this yesterday I could barely contain my excitement because it’s “THE ONE.” Papillon Aqua- 2 is going to look sensational in my “girl cave”. After I order it, and have it applied to the wall I will be sharing the pictures. I promise.
